Freestate Riding Club

This is Mo. He’s a twelve-year-old Appaloosa gelding in need of a moderately experienced rider. He is very sweet on the ground. He’s polite while having his feet picked and he loves to have his neck scratched, although he can sometimes be head shy around new people. He loves to lead the pack on trail rides. He needs a little work under saddle and longe line, but he is a very quick learner. He just needs someone who will be able to work with him consistently. He’s had some experience showing, and although he has been ridden Western for the past few years, he can be ridden English as well. His owner is heading off to college soon and doesn’t have enough time to work with him anymore. He is currently being boarded in Huntingtown, MD and we are asking $1,200. 1) 5 pairs of children's riding pants, one with small paint stain on one leg. 1-size 8, 2-size 10s, and 1-size 12. All with draw string at the waist. Asking $15.00 for all 5 pairs.

2) Children's Navy Hunt Coat, Size 6. No tears or pulls, but it does have a small white-ish mark on the back of one sleeve. Asking $15.00.

3) Ladies Navy Hunt Coat, Size Large 20. No tears or pulls and has never been worn. Asking $30.00.

Lucky can be ridden Western or English. He has jumped up to 3 feet. He needs an intermediate rider. He is fine for the farrier and the vet. Stands well for washing and grooming. Looking to lease while the owner is away at college. Prefer to keep in Calvert County, but not a must.

Pocket Change

14 ½ H (per USEF card), Welsh Pony Mare – 10 yrs

Penny has been a fantastic pony for Yeardley, and has carried her though 2 Hunter Show Series in Short Stirrup, Pleasure Pony, Pre-Childrens Pony Hunter Divisions, always in the ribbons and end of year awards. Penny has also been pony clubbed for the last 2 years, Show Jumping Rally/D Eventing Rally, and Pony Club camp this summer in PA.

Penny has wonderful ground manners, stands for farrier, dentist, clips/loads etc. Always sound, never lame. Up to date on everything. No vices and mid pack in the field. She is great/safe for younger kids up to a small adult. W/T/C, jumping up to 2’9”, lead changes, loves to go out of the ring on the trails, over logs/brush and water. She has been swimming too and loved it!

A good home a must, show home/pony club home.
